About Us
At J. Wilder Woodworking, LLC, every piece begins with a simple goal: to create functional woodwork that’s as beautiful as it is useful. What started as a personal passion project — making gifts and practical items for friends and family — has grown into a woodworking studio rooted in artistry, craftsmanship, and care.
When not performing as Principal Horn of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, I’m in my backyard shop, turning raw wood into cutting boards, bowls, pens, and custom designs. Each creation reflects years of woodworking experience combined with a musician’s eye for detail, patience, and creativity.
